Licensed Architect with more than 15 years of experience in institutional, commercial and residential projects for both private and governmental entities.
His practice has included working in conjunction with several local and mainland firms and organisations, such as: EVO Consortium, Nextep, LMC Engineers, MCQ Engineering, Luis Flores Arquitectos, and Gensler - Houston, Gensler - Costa Rica and AREA Architecture in Los Angeles. In the institutional sector has designed projects for the Veteran’s Advocate Office, Puerto Rico Ports Authority, Puerto Rico National Parks Company, Puerto Rico Housing Authority, the Department of Education and Public Building Administration. In the commercial sector has been involved in the design of projects for multinational companies as Microsoft, T-Mobile, Kimberly Clark and Univision.He is currently leading the design team for EVO Consortium on the development, design and management of innovative security projects in Mexico, United States, Albania and Iraq, among others. These projects, located at seaports, border crossings and critical facilities are essential to combat smuggling and find hidden contraband, including explosives, narcotics and weapons of mass destruction. He has also been involved in the design of radiotherapy facilities for the health sector and event security facilities for international clients.Parallel to this, he is currently working in product development , designing and producing several lines of products under his own brand, named serie-s, as well as collaborating in the design of products for other design firms. Recently, he exhibited some of his products in the international design fair Wanted Design in New York and his work has appeared in several local and international publications.He is actively involved in the design, development and fabrication of architectural products including environmental graphics, lighting, wall textures, perforated panels and furniture for architectural projects, implementing the latest computer controlled fabrication techniques.
